Richard T. Bean, CFA

Vice President/Equity Analyst

Richard is a vice president of CornerCap Investment Counsel. He is the senior equity analyst of our small-cap value discipline and a member of the investment committee. He comanages the CornerCap Small Cap Value Fund. Richard joined the firm in 1996. Previously, he worked for an employee benefits and actuarial firm. Richard has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a member of the Atlanta Society Financial Analysts (ASFA). He is also a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Richard has a BS in Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi. He enjoys golf and is active in the United States Masters Swimming.
